Gov Oborevwori Presents Staff Of Office To The Traditional Ruler Of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom

 Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has presented Staff of Office to the traditional ruler of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, HRM Pere Prince Samuel Akpomiemie Fuludu, Ogiogio II, Oduo-Ogbogu, with a charge to use his throne to advance development to his kingdom and Delta State.
Speaking during the presentation at Mein Grammar school, Kiagbodo in Burutu local government area, Governor Oborevwori represented by his Deputy, Sir. Monday Onyeme said, “I congratulates your Royal Majesty and the people of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom for the peaceful ascension to the traditional stool of his ancestors.
“Giving the background of your wealth of experience and providential clarity, I am confident that you will not have any serious problem in the exercise of your function as the leader of this industrious and peace loving community.
“As the traditional ruler of this kingdom, you are expected to be the rally point to your people as i sincerely employ you to identify and promote at all time, the genuine operation of your subjects.
“I want to assure you that the Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom will not be forgotten in the developmental plans of this administration.
“While I solicit your patience in this regard, your specific request for the completion of the Ayakoromo bridge, repairing of the damaged power line in Ayakoromo, funding of the Kiagbodo Technical College and the completion of Bikorogha/ Egodor link road are well noted.
“And in the appropriate time, attention will be given in due course as these are legitimate request from the people to this government which they freely elected and I assure you that all the will be looked into when we have transmitted them to the relevant agencies.
“I want to expressed our deep appreciation to the people of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom for their kind sentiment about my administration and this attitude and support will propel us to actualize the promotion of genuine aspiration of Deltans.
“I want to appeal to all sons and daughters of Ngbilebiri-Mein to contribute towards the development of the kingdom, while rallying round the the traditional ruler, so that true peace and harmony will continue to be the law of this kingdom.
“Besides, I urge you not to allow elements of political devices to detract this kingdom from its goals of unity, progress, respect for culture and traditional institution and in this discharge of your responsibility.
“The struggle is over and you are now the the king and in handling your duties, be transparent, fair and just as the father of all subjects.You should have no favourite or enemy.”
“In his address, the council of Chiefs secretary, High Chief Yerin Ekpedibo Yerin disclosed that Ngbilebiri-Mein is a peace loving kingdom with her neighboring communities.
He said, “The Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, the traditional council and the entire people have longed key into the More of this present administration and we are using this occasion to commend the Governor for his commitment towards the development of the entire state and Burutu local government are especially the creation of Directorate for Riverine Infrastructural Development and yeiding to our request in our address.”
In his speech, the traditional ruler of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, HRM Pere Prince Samuel Akpomiemie Fuludu said, “I am delighted that the much awaited great event in the kingdom has come, which is the fulfillment and expectation of the entire people of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom.
“As the Pere of the kingdom, I wish to say here that my reign will adhere strictly to the core values of custom and tradition of our fore fathers.
“I will get in touch with relevant governmental institutions and other strategic stakeholders towards bringing the necessary and sustainable development, progress, peace and unity to Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, and by extension, to Delta State, and Nigeria, at large.” The monarch assured.
